old friends, new friends, and breaks

another week has flown by, and i didn't even get a new article out that wasn't another recap. i have an idea for an article, though, so that one should be comin' soon!
exam week flew by! i ended the semester with a ninety-five in math, which makes up for the eighty-five in english. yikes.
my best friend moved, which was really hard. the day before she left, we went skating, ordered mc donalds skip the dishes, and then got manicures. although she has been gone for five days now, i feel as though we are just as close. this happened once as well, after my aladdin production, coming to the auditions for the hunchback of notre dame. our small posse of girls had not seen each other for over five months. yet, when we got together again, it was as if we had seen each other just the other day. i think that these are just the kind of relationships that humans beings are able to create, and it gives me so much hope. some people find it too hard to maintain a long-distance friendship, yet, some friendships are just so powerful, that they last. and i truly wish this for all of mine, and everyone else's.
i met a new employee at work over the weekend, and quickly discovered we share the same faith. honestly, this was such a wonderful breath of fresh air for me. it's hard to spend every day surrounded by behaviours that don't allow me to embrace my faith. and so this experience with another christian was awesome. we shared our beliefs about certain aspects in the bible, and when we differed, neither of us were upset about the disagreement. we were both open to new ideas, and i just adored being able to freely express how i felt, and not be thought of as insane. so, uh, yeah, that was great!
i have one day left of my break, and on thursday, i am back to the grind. it has been great to spend time with families that i love. i see my friends at school everyday, so this break has been nice. it has given me opportunity to spend time with my family, and close older friends, who i consider to be my mentors. i have spent lots of time with my mom, which is always awesome. although, spending time with her almost always persuades me to spend money. i spent more than two hundred dollars at lululemon today. ahh sweet sweet pay day. any day now.

anyway, enjoy that meme. i hope you can't relate to it as well as i can. thanks for reading, and stay tuned for some more ridiculous blog posts by subscribing! just enter your email on my page, and you will get notifications when i post! love you all!
