itty bitty introduction

january thirteenth

hey hey everyone! welcome to my blog! i'm so excited to start putting my thoughts and ideas onto the internet, for others to read and explore! i'd like to start by introducing who i am, and what kind of topics will be featured on this blog!

i am fifteen years old, and in grade ten. i live in alberta, canada, and i have two amazing parents, three siblings, and literally the cutest dog ever. judah is thirteen, ella is twelve, and cohen is ten. my parents are the most supportive people in my life. they accept every crazy idea i've had, and have encouraged me in everything i have pursued.

my whole family grew up christian, and when a close look is taken, at any of our historical circumstances, it is evident that God has seriously impacted our lives, and provided for us in dozens of ways.

i attended a christian school from grade two, until grade eight, and from there, moved to highschool. school has always come easy to me, and that is something that i am so thankful for. i am very social, and love making friends, so i absolutely love school.

i am an artist! i absolutely love to sing, dance, act, whistle... literally anything that has to do with being in front of an audience. it gives me the kind of thrill that others receive from performing daredevil acts- it isn't scary for me, but it gives me a rush. i have taken piano for eight years, and it is my absolute favourite instrument. however, i can also play guitar, violin, and ukulele.

as well as being a performance artist, i also love watercolour! it is so calming and relaxing, and i just find the result so beautiful.

i definitely don't consider myself an athlete, but i love skating and playing ice hockey. i mean, i kinda have to, cause i live in canada, right?

i work at a local cafe, and i absolutely love my job. i work with the most amazing people, and the environment is so beautiful.

i became interested in politics when i was in grade six, and learned about canada's political system. maybe that's super nerdy, but ya know what, i love it. it was around the same time that rachel notley and justin trudeau were elected into our leadership. yeah. not a great time. but it intrigued me, since then, to follow the actions that society takes, concerning their leaders.

i'm sure everyone's a little confused about the title of my blog, so i'll explain. i want this to be a fun blog. something that can have serious articles, but can also be funny. therefore, i decided to have a silly name. it's not super deep, and it doesn't have an extremely poetic story to accompany the title. 'capanoomy' was what i called macaroni when i was younger. i know. goofy. but that's kinda the point of this. i guess my goal for this blog, is for it to become a platform where i can voice my opinions and thoughts about situations honestly and openly. i think i'll talk a lot about specific circumstances that i encounter. i want teens my age to be able to relate to me, but i want it to still entertain different perspectives for them. as much as this is for teens, i also want this to present an understanding for parents who read this. something for them to consider, that might help them understand how teens- myself included- are operating. the situations they struggle to work through, and the pressures they face. i truly want to inspire others, and provoke thought, and emotion. so, welcome to my life. enjoy my rants, and my photo- overloads. i truly hope you come to love and enjoy my written out look on this seriously insane world.
